Basic Frozen Yogurt Recipe- Healthy Desserts
Unlike when making ice cream, you might start with 4 cups of cream and milk and end up with 6 to 7 cups of ice cream because of churning and incorporating air into the mixture, when making frozen yogurt, the opposite happens. You might start with 4 cups of Greek yogurt and end up with about 3 cups of frozen yogurt as it becomes more dense. You can use this basic frozen yogurt recipe to make all types of flavors by incorporating fruit purées, different toppings and even alcoholic versions with Bailey’s Irish Cream or Rum. As a basic frozen yogurt though, this is so healthy that I’ve archived this recipe under both desserts and breakfast. Dessert for breakfast? Yes!

Ingredients
4 cups low-fat Greek yogurt
3 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon vanilla essence
1/4 teaspoon salt
Fresh fruit, granola and/or dark chocolate for garnish

Method
