Watermelon Lychee Smoothie
This is one of my favorite smoothies ever, the watermelon making this very light and refreshing while ripe, naturally sweet lychees lend a distinctive tropical flavor. Coconut water has been my liquid of choice lately though you can substitute any type of White or Green tea or even any type of milk, like Almond milk, cashew milk or regular milk. Watermelon Lychee Smoothie is a favorite with adults and kids alike.
4 cups watermelon cut in chunks
2 cup (~20 pieces) lychee
3 cups coconut water
2 cups crushed ice
Pieces of watermelon and lychee for garnish
Place all the ingredients (except the garnish) into a blender and blend until thoroughly smooth. Serve immediately with the garnish.
Try a variation:
After pouring into individual serving glasses, add ¼ cup of club soda to each glass, turning the smoothie into a fizzy fun drink.
