Peaches’n Cream- Healthy Peach Smoothie
Something about the flavors of peaches’n cream brings back fond childhood memories of traveling in the southern states with my parents. Right in the middle of summer, we’d pluck those fuzzy peaches right off the trees and I remember how incredibly sweet and juicy they were. Not so long ago, I craved the flavors of those sweet peaches in the ice creams my parents and I tasted so I created this healthy Peach Smoothie, blending peaches with milk, a touch of honey and club soda for a fizzy texture. The result is a creamy, lightly sweet drink that celebrates the season to perfection.

Serves 4

Ingredients
6 large fresh peaches, pitted and roughly chopped (~5 cups)
4 cups milk
4 heaping tablespoons honey
2 cups club soda
1 cup crushed ice

***Tip: You can use frozen peaches and omit the crushed ice. Also, depending on the sweetness of the peaches, you may have to adjust the amount of honey used.

Method

Place all the ingredients except the club soda in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour the club soda into the peach smoothie and mix gently with a large spoon. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
