Banana Oatmeal Smoothie
Who says that breakfast has to be time consuming or elaborate? Here’s a super quick breakfast smoothie that has kept me addicted for years. Creamy, naturally sweet and so yummy, this Banana Oatmeal Smoothie will make it hard to believe that it’s also packed with protein, fibers, calcium and antioxidants. If it takes all of 2 minutes, that’ll be too long. Great for a quick breakfast at home or take it on the go.
Makes 4 glasses
2 bananas + slices for garnish
2 cup crushed ice
3 tablespoons honey
1 cup raw oatmeal
3 cups skim milk (substitute Almond milk)
In a blender, pulse all the ingredients together until smooth. Garnish with banana slices and serve immediately.
