Peach Ice Cream- Easy Summer Desserts
I’ve had a peach tree a few times in my life in different homes and few things remind me of warm summer days more than fresh ripe peaches plucked from a tree. My favorite easy summer desserts are those that incorporate fresh fruits so I’m always looking for new ways to do this. Here’s an easy ice cream recipe that blends in fresh ripe peaches. It’s lightly sweet, a little tangy and simply divine.

Ingredients
3 cups heavy cream
1 1/2 cups whole milk (you can use non-fat milk though it will result in a less creamy texture)
1 cup peach purée (take ripe fresh or frozen peaches without seeds and pulse in a food processor until smooth)
1/3 cup sugar (I used really ripe, fresh peaches which were naturally sweet so did not need to add much sugar. If the peaches you’re using are not really sweet, you can add more sugar to this).
1 tablespoon vanilla essence
Fresh peaches for garnish
Fresh mint sprigs for garnish

Method

Place all the ingredients in an ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer’s instructions. You can serve immediately when it’s done, garnishing with fresh peaches and mint sprigs or store in a freezer-proof container for later.
