Natural Way to Keep Gray Hairs Away
When you spend enough time in places like Bali and Thailand you pick up a few tricks from local women who’ve  passed down beauty secrets from one generation to the next. How do you keep gray hair away? This is a question that confounds the world’s top beauty experts and results in a multi-billion dollar hair care industry with products that mask gray hair into any color you want it to be. Women in Southeast Asia though have used a centuries-old method of keeping their hair black and shiny and I’m sharing that with you here.

Ingredients
1/2 cup hot water
1 tablespoon loose leaf black tea (you can substitute with black tea bag)
8 drops Basil essential oil (substitute with lavender or tea tree oil)
1 small or medium sized spray pump bottle (pictured above- I reused a spray pump bottle from another scalp treatment I used from the Alterna brand)

In a clean cup, steep the black tea in the hot water for at least 15 minutes, up to 1 hour. Once the steeped tea has cooled, strain into the spray pump bottle.

Add the drops of Basil oil, secure the bottle and shake for a few seconds to thoroughly mix. Store in the bathroom and use on days after you’ve shampooed and conditioned your hair. Spray directly onto various sections of your scalp and gently massage in. Allow to air dry before blow drying or styling.

*If you use this about 3 times per week like I do, this recipe should last you about 2 months or so.
