Chocolate Strawberry Popsicles- Healthy Popsicle Recipes
For all of my healthy popsicle recipes, I used one of my favorite kitchen gadgets- the Zoku Popsicle Maker, which makes 3 regular sized popsicles. If you’re not familiar with Zoku popsicle makers, you should definitely check them out as they make the old method of wrestling with removing popsicles from the molds a thing of the past. Zoku makes it super easy to create luscious, healthy desserts like my Chocolate Strawberry Popsicles, which tastes like a classic sundae all in one. You can of course, use a regular popsicle mold.

Makes 4 medium-sized popsicles

Ingredients
1 heaping teaspoon good quality cocoa powder
2 tablespoons nutella (substitute with 1/2 large banana for healthier version)
1 cup unsweetened soy milk (substitute with any type of milk you like)
4 fresh strawberries, thinly sliced

Method

Blend the cocoa powder, nutella and soy milk in a blender or food processor until smooth. Line the sides of the popsicle molds with the thinly sliced strawberries. Carefully and slowly pour the chocolate mixture into the molds without agitating the strawberries.

If you’re using Zoku pop makers, these can be done in as little as 7 minutes. If you’re using traditional popsicle makers, freeze for at least 4 hours before releasing from the molds and serving.
