This is an amazingly addictive sauce that can be paired with all types of dishes, including fried appetizers, sashimi salads and even roasted meats. It’s very important to start with good quality ripe avocados. Using avocados that aren’t completely ripe won’t result in a smooth consistency. Alternatively, I’ve made this recipe as a salad simply by chopping the avocado into bite sized pieces, mixing all the other ingredients and drizzling it over the avocados. Equally addictive and so good for winter months when your skin and hair need the extra nourishment.

Makes 1 medium sized bowl

Ingredients
2 small ripe avocados, pitted
4 tablespoons plum sauce
3 tablespoons regular soy sauce
2 heaping tablespoons Korean chili paste (substitute with your favorite spicy sauce)
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

Method

Spoon the avocados into a food processor. Add all the ingredients on top of the avocados and pulse a few times until smooth. Serve immediately. (Alternately, you can use a whisk or large fork to mash all the ingredients together until smooth instead of using a food processor).
