SHANGHAI, CHINA – November 15, 2012 – The world’s most premium culinary ingredient is making a return to Shanghai, the white truffle from Alba, Italy is now presented to all diners in Palladio Italian Restaurant at The Portman Ritz-Carlton, Shanghai.
The white Alba truffle or also known as “The white diamond” is an exquisite species of truffle found in Piedmont in Italy and famous for its aroma and aphrodisiac qualities. With maximum 3-tons of production per year in bountiful harvests season, Palladio’s Italian Chef Gianluca is immersed in the joy of cooking with this seasonal delicacy. Truffle connoisseurs are feted to a variety of dishes such as Wagyu beef tenderloin with Alba Truffle, Creamy Mountain cheese risotto with Alba Truffle, Caramelized scallops with Alba Truffle, Veal shank & potato gratin with Alba Truffle.
White Alba Truffle menu is available for Lunch, 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (Monday to Saturday), and dinner 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. (Monday to Sunday).
