One of the most important aspects of traveling is of course, where we choose to call home in a foreign city. Staying in an unpleasant hotel with terrible service can absolutely ruin what could have been a wonderful trip. In my travels around the world, I have had the blessing to be a guest at some of the most unimaginably beautiful and spectacular hotels and inns and the luck to experience quite the opposite, at a few, shall we say, comically frightening establishments. Every hotel, whatever its size or amenities, has its individual character that will contribute to the journey you have wherever you are visiting.  Whether we travel as tourists on vacation or on business, getting an excellent night’s sleep is imperative to achieving our objective.
