These days, there are countless numbers of restaurants around the world, all of them filled with people who prepare the food. There is a monumental difference, however, between cooks and chefs. Through my years of traveling, I have had the honor of eating the cuisine of marvelous chefs. These are people who have reached great heights of success in their field through a lifetime of hard work, persistence, endless hours in the kitchen, dedication, and, most importantly, passion for their art. Here, I am showcasing a few of my favorite chefs, who are individually unique, brilliantly innovative and humbly share their talents with those of us lucky enough to be their guest.
