RECIPES                 There’s a great misconception out there that cooking is a time consuming and catastrophically difficult task. The mere thought of preparing daily meals or hosting parties sends people running to find excuses for doing neither. Nothing could be further from the truth. Nowadays, being both health and budget conscious, cooking and entertaining at home is not only the smart thing to do but the most enjoyable with just a little know how and effort. Whether you’re cooking for one, two, a family, a small gathering of friends or a big party, you CAN end up with incredibly nutritious food that not only tastes divine, but looks like it came out of an Iron Chef’s kitchen. Everybody will wonder if you didn’t sneak away to culinary school. The key to success in the kitchen first and foremost, is to have passion for food. Beyond that, all you need is a few basic tools available at your local supermarket, an Asian grocery store and perhaps a Crate and Barrel, and of course, FRESH ingredients. Once you get started, every time you cook will be simple and quick. Look through these recipes, have fun trying them out and don’t be afraid to make mistakes or experiment. It’s only food, not surgery! Most importantly, enjoy the journey of discovering new flavors!
