Farm House Fresh Hydrating Lip Balms
It’s been about 3 years now since I’ve become an ardent fan of skincare brand Farm House Fresh- one of the leading “farm to skin” companies in America, if not the world. My latest love from FHF is their Hydrating Lip Balms. Like all Farm House Fresh skincare products, these are paraben and sulfate free.
Currently available in two flavors, Whoopie Cream and Coconut Beach, these hydrating lip balms are packaged in thin silver lipstick tubes and both glide on clear with no tint at all. These lip balms are perfect for anyone who doesn’t like wearing lip color or simply want to moisturize the delicate lip area without much gloss, shine or stickiness.
I love how this lip balm keeps my lips moisturized for a solid 4 to 5 hours (if I don’t eat during that time period). There’s no need for constant reapplication. Because it goes on clear, I can also wear it under lipstick or any other gloss. One of the best aspects of these lip balms is that they’re not sticky at all. I’ve encountered lip balms or lip moisturizers that claim to not be sticky and while they don’t start off as sticky, an hour later they end up leaving a strange gluey residue on my lips that is both gross to the touch as to the taste.
If you like a lightly sweet taste on your lips, go for the delicate Whoopie Cream. If you’re a coconut lover, the Coconut Beach is a no brainer. I’m generally not a fan of Coconut flavored skincare products but I was pleasantly surprised by this lip balm; the coconut is discernible but not overpowering. Just a nice, gentle hint of that “I just took a sip of my coconut drink on the beach” feeling.
Over time with daily use, you’ll see no more chapped or cracked lips; simply healthy, hydrated kissers. At US $15 a tube, this is a no nonsense purchase that lasts a solid 6 months with normal daily use.
