About Asian Fusion

I created the original Asian Fusion company over ten years ago after spending years traveling throughout Asia. Having lived all over the world, I felt it was time to return to where my life began, not to seek answers, but merely to experience everything that Asia was about. It wasn’t until later that I realized that what I had set about to do would become a life long journey. After all, Asia is comprised of some of the oldest civilizations in the world, rich with heritage and traditions, complex in its history and peoples.

As life continued to take me to different parts of the world, I often felt a sense of confusion as to where it is I belonged, where I wanted to eventually settle down and put down roots. Being a world traveler, I considered myself to be knowledgeable about most cuisines and cultures, able to comfortably assimilate anywhere I went. And yet there was this distinctive feeling of something amiss, something I couldn’t quite identify. For a couple of years, I didn’t return to Asia, living and traveling throughout the western hemisphere. After those years of absence, I finally returned and that’s when it dawned on me what "belonging" truly meant.

Asian Fusion as a website is a celebration of food, travel and life from an Asian perspective.The Asian Fusion company as a whole has been the culmination of all my life’s journeys, my intense love for everything that is Asia, its people, past and future.
