Makes ~6 cups

Ingredients
3 cups heavy cream
1 1/2 cups whole milk
3 ripe bananas
1/2 cup brewed espresso
1 teaspoon espresso powder

Method

Place 2 of the bananas with the whole milk in a blender and blend until smooth. Transfer to your ice cream maker along with the heavy cream, espresso and espresso powder.

Take the third banana and mash with a fork or roughly chop up. Depending on your ice cream manufacturer, you may be able to add the mashed/chopped banana right in with the other ingredients or you may have to add it about five to ten minutes before the ice cream is set.

Serve garnished with bananas and espresso powder or store in a freezer-proof air-tight container.
