Makes 1 small bowl
6 tablespoons plum sauce
2 tablespoons honey
1 1/2 tablespoon tamarind paste (substitute fresh lime juice)
2 tablespoons Sambal Oelek chili paste
2 tablespoons regular soy sauce
2 tablespoons finely minced garlic
In a small bowl, mix all the ingredients until thoroughly combined. Serve as a dipping sauce to any crispy or fried dishes. Sauce can be kept in a properly sealed container for up to 1 month in the refrigerator.
