Sulwhasoo Ginseng Eye Cream- Best Anti-Aging Eye Creams

What sets an eye cream apart from all others? As many of you know, I do beauty product features on a regular basis and have named several eye creams to my list of Best Products Around the World. I have been a beauty product reviewer that has irked some brands because of my refusal to place them on my Best in World list despite their gifting me their products, but if I can’t speak freely and honestly about the efficacy of all of these products, what is even the point of doing these reviews to share with you all?

You could just read random reviews on Sephora or whatever other beauty site you purchase your skincare and make-up from and take your chances. I’ve always firmly stood behind the honesty of my features and only those products that are truly leagues above the rest in various price ranges make it to my list of Best in World. With Sulwhasoo, it’s easy to understand why they are the brand of choice for numerous Korean and Japanese stars- both famous for luminous skin.

What then sets apart Sulwhasoo’s Ginseng Eye Cream on this already exclusive list?

To start, this Ginseng Eye Cream immediately softens fine lines under and around your eyes; it certainly airbrushed away an annoyingly persistent fine line under my right eye that was there from months of lack of sleep and stress (typical symptoms of working on a startup). I kid you not, Sulwhasoo’s Ginseng Eye Cream worked like a photoshop tool for my under-eye area in just minutes.

Housed in a gold colored jar with a pumpkin hued lid, the Sulwhasoo Ginseng Eye Cream is quite a sizable amount that will last a solid 6 to 9 months depending on whether you use it once daily versus twice daily and of course, on how much you actually use. I’m a middle ground eye cream user, using enough to generously moisturize my entire eye area but not so much that it’s wasting excessive product. I know some people, like my mother, are accustomed to using copious amounts and feel like their skin is dry without layering the product on. That’s fine if it makes you feel better and you can afford it but after a certain threshold of proper application, products don’t become more effective just because you layer on more of it.

The cream itself is an off-white color with a thick consistency and a light Ginseng scent. If you’ve ever had those tiny vials of Ginseng extract drinks, that’s pretty much what this eye cream smells like, pleasant if you like Ginseng, (which I do). It glides on the delicate eye area silky smooth, absorbing rapidly leaving just softness within minutes with no trace of oiliness.

It was that aforementioned photoshop effect that had me in love at first use. I thought I was seeing things so much so that I turned on extra lights in the bathroom and looked in one of those horrifying magnifying mirrors. But there it wasn’t. That annoying little line that taunted me for months, reminding me that I’m not 20 years old anymore and I can’t get away with lack of sleep the way I used to.

After several weeks of nightly use, my entire eye area remains soft, line-free, dark-circle free and as bright and peppy as if all traces of startup life had been wiped clean away. It doesn’t get better than this in the world of eye creams.

What are the proprietary aspects of the Sulwhasoo Ginseng Eye Cream?
