Shiseido White Lucent Power Brightening Mask
Sometimes, no matter how religious we are about good skincare habits and good eating habits, the grind of everyday life can take its toll on our facial skin. Maybe it was a few nights of mediocre sleep or a week full of extra stress. Or maybe you just want your skin to glow at its brightest, smoothest best self for a special occasion.
If this all sounds familiar, Shiseido’s White Lucent Power Brightening Mask is a treatment you’ll want to include in your repertoire.
Free of Parabens, Sulfates and Phthalates, these ergonomically designed elastic masks fit every shape and size of face and saturates your skin with Shiseido’s proprietary White Lucent technology ingredients- particularly 4MSK, which powerfully helps to remove melanin trapped in dark spots. In plain English, this means that all of us who experience (regularly or occasionally) sluggish skin, brown spots due to sun and/or aging and dry patches will benefit from this super saturated mask.
Shiseido has been developing the technology behind this short-term high-saturation mask for years, using Ion Force Technology to ensure effective penetration of the lightening and moisturizing ingredients into our skin.
The first time I used the mask, I left it on for 25 minutes. The mask is soft and pliable, easy to remove from the packet and unfold off itself. It has an immediate, slight cooling effect though after a few minutes, I noticed how rich it felt, as if a thick gel-like paste had been applied to my entire face. I just lay back and listened to music, enjoying the mask and its very subtle sweet scent.
After removing the mask, my skin did feel noticeably softer, tiny dry patches gone, no oily residue, with a generally bright, vibrant appearance to my face as if I’d had both a great facial and restful nap in one. I didn’t notice any significant lightening of any brown spots individually though I wasn’t really expecting that to happen after a 20+ minute mask.
Subsequent uses yielded the same results of supple, moisturized skin and an overall healthy glow. At US $68 for 1 box which contains 6 masks, this can be pricey for many people. Personally, I use these Shiseido masks prior to big events for a quick skin pick-me-up or after a rough week to boost my skin’s overall healthy appearance.
Whether you can afford to use this once a week or as a once in a while facial treat, Shiseido’s White Lucent Power Brightening Mask is a definite must-have for those of you obsessed with having great skin.
